Burhan®

Burhan®

BioFungicides

Burhan® contains spores of /Bacillus amyloliquefaciens/, which produce various metabolites and enzymes with fungicidal activity. Also, phytohormones and compounds that allow the plant to bind with and compete for nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus.

Some of the main metabolites produced by this bacterium include Iturin, Fengicin, Surfactin, Bacilomycin, among others, which have fungicidal action by inhibiting enzymes that are essential for phytopathogenic fungi. Bacillus amyloliquefaciens also produces salicylic acid that inhibits the germination of fungal spores.

The formulation of Burhan® stimulates the plant to activate its systemic resistance, in addition to altering the structure and permeability of the cell membrane of phytopathogenic fungi. It also competes for nutrients and produces volatile compounds with antifungal action.
